After graduating from IIT, Kanpur in mechanical engineering, he worked in leadership roles for thirty years in Supply Chain & Operations functions in global Automotive, Industrial and Telecom organizations such as Cummins, Tata, Airtel & Eicher.
He kept himself updated with global certifications (CPIM, CSCP) in Supply Chain and Operations management from APICS, USA and got certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Since the past few years, he migrated full time into Consulting and Academic roles with a vision to bring the many years of experience to the classrooms to prepare the next generation of managers at ISB&M. Students find his approach very engaging, energizing & challenging.
He believes that Character & Skills are just as important as Knowledge. His courses are designed to deliver cutting edge and analytical capabilities to the students to successfully handle the current challenges in Operations, Supply chain management.
He is Certified in Production & Inventory management (CPIM) and A Certified Supply chain professional (CSCP) from APICS, USA (a benchmark qualification for Supply chain and Operations management professionals). He is also a practicing Lean Sig-Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).
Overall experience of about 30 years in Automotive, Industrial, Telecom, and Heavy Engineering business segments in companies such as Eicher, Cummins, Tata, & Airtel.
Worked in a range of leadership roles in Planning, Projects, Procurement, Quality and Production functions.
He has consulted several organizations seeking to improve profitability, and introduce a culture of excellence in Operations. He has also conducted Executive and Management Development Programs in the area of Supply Chain Management with leading multi-national organizations.
He is a regular contributor of Blogs on contemporary issues and has published a professional course on technical chart analysis on Udemy.
He brings years of professional experience into his classes and successfully connects real life business challenges to the subject knowledge. His teaching style is such that the students learn to take business decisions based on thorough reasoning and insights. His classes not only build knowledge but also skills and character in his students who naturally shine and acquire high growth careers.
