Dr. Madan Survase is an Area Chairperson & Associate Professor of Economics with over 17 years of extensive experience in teaching and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Symbiosis International University, along with an M.A. and M.Phil. from the University of Pune, and a Computer Applications for Economic Analysis from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune
Dr. Survase began his professional journey as a Research Analyst at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, where he contributed to four major research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Population, and the World Bank. Over the years, he has held key academic and editorial positions. He is a peer reviewer for several research publications of ABDC & Scopus indexed journals.
He convened the international conference on "Aligning SDGs and ESG" hosted by ISB&M, Nande on March 8, 2025. He served as an Editor for the Special Conference Issue of the Journal of Asia Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (UK) & conference proceeding e-book- ICASE’ 25. His research work is published in reputed Scopus and ABDC-indexed journals, with core focus areas including financial inclusion, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Dr. Survase has also actively presented his research at various national and international conferences.
Beyond academics, Dr. Survase has been deeply involved in corporate social responsibility initiatives, demonstrating a sustained commitment to societal development and sustainable growth.
