This competition provides a platform for budding filmmakers to showcase their creativity, storytelling process, and cinematic skills. We invite participants to take the audience on a captivating journey within the constraints of 5 to 7 minutes, exploring diverse themes, genres, and storytelling techniques. Whether you're an experienced filmmaker or a first-time creator, this is your chance to captivate and inspire.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
Films must be between 5 to 7 minutes in length, including credits. Entries exceeding this limit will be disqualified
Films can be in English and Hindi only, but English subtitles must be provided for non-English entries to ensure a broad and inclusive viewing experience.
All entries must be original works. Plagiarism or the use of copyrighted material without proper permission will result in disqualification.
Topics will be given to all teams 36 hours before the submission.
A participant can be part of only one team. Each team should consist of a minimum of two members and a maximum of eight.
Films must be submitted in a digital format (MP4 preferred) via the online submission portal. Ensure the file is named clearly, including the film's title.
The deadline for submitting entries is 1st February 2024 5:00 PM. Late submissions will not be considered.
A credits section is allowed and should not exceed 60 seconds. Include the names and roles of all team members. Any external resources used, such as music or images, must be credited appropriately.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
Storytelling: The strength and originality of the narrative.
Cinematography: The use of camera angles, framing, and overall visual appeal.
Editing: The seamless flow of the film, pacing, and effective use of transitions.
Acting: The quality of performances and the ability to convey emotions.
Sound Design: The use of sound effects, music, and overall audio quality.
Creativity: Innovative and unique approaches to storytelling and filmmaking.
Adherence to Theme: How well the film aligns with the chosen theme.
The decision of the judging panel is final. Judges, comprising experienced filmmakers and industry professionals, will evaluate entries based on the criteria mentioned above.
